Someome Tell My Heart
By: Karen
I can't cry anymore.
My tears have dried up.
My body has finished crying;
My heart cannot.
My heart cannot forget the times we shared.
Every moment has been played over so many times,
For fear of forgetting.
My mind tells me you are in a better place;
Your pain has stopped,
And you are free.
My mind still misses you, but I know you can't come back.
My heart wants to believe I'll see you tomorrow,
Not lying in that cold coffin,
Not being lowered into the ground.
No, my heart believes you are still alove,
And not just just in spirit.
He's convincing that it can't be true;
You can't be dead: you're so young.
God deosn't let the good ones die.
Or does he?
Was your purpose fulfilled?
Was your time up?
Or maybe God just wants to keep the good ones close to Him.
So many lives touched by a single person
A person so young,
So special,
So loved...
So missed.
You will never be forgotten,
I promise you that, Amanda.
I owe you my happiness; it's the leats I can do.
My mind knowsall these things,
That you've gone away and won't come back.
My mind knows...
Now someone tell my heart.
