I just lost a good friend, I heard it from that man.
She came to me just now, surrounded by a beautiful light
She smiled and bowed her head to me, & a single tear streamed down my face.
It was wiped away with her loving touch, as I stood there in shock.
Then she looked up to the heavens, she had finally earned her wings.
I broke into sobbing, for then I knew she was gone forever.
It felt like my heart had been torn out, my breath was short and the world spun quickly around me.
She stopped in her ascent, to hold my hand tight.
She comforted me with her words, "Dear sweet friend of mine, it will all be alright."
With those very words, she disappered in a flash of light.
But I can see her blowing me kisses if I look in the stars at night.
My life will continue, but my thoughts will often stray to her.
A life taken too soon, and our memories are never forgotten.
I spent my life with, told her my loves and my secrets.
No one can be who she was, no one knows me that well.
How could God take her away? We all want to know.
Why did she have to be another angel? Can't God's garden be short one?
She was a daughter, a sister, and part of Drama's family.
She was everything in the world to everyone, and one of the best friends in the world to me.
