On the left is the Barenaked Ladies and on the right is one of the singers, Ed Robertson. This was from the Mixfest 2000 show. I'm glad these pictures came out because I had to wait 3 hours in line to meet them. Well at least we were entertained by some drunk people in the beer garden and there weren't any good bands on stage at the time.

Here are some pictures of me with some of the guys from Entrain. They're a pretty popular local band. I actually saw these guys for the first time by accident. They were playing a free concert in Boston and we happened to be in the area. Since that show me and my mother have made it a point to attend a couple more of their shows, and we always try to talk to the guys afterward. From left to right are Brian, Sam and Lenny.
Here's one of those pictures that I will treasure for the rest of my life. This is Tre Cool, drummer of Green Day. I've loved Green Day ever since 1994 but the summer of 2001 was the first oppertunity I got to see them live. I saw them first at River Rave and they played an abreviated set and then set their drum kit on fire. I saw them again later in the summer with my sister and a kid I worked with. We waited around after the show hoping to meet them. We followed a pizza guy around the arena and I almost had a heart attack when I saw Tre. Right away he made fun of my sister, saying "Hey Girl" and pretending to flip his hair back like she had. Then when he signed our autographs he continued the pen up my sister's arm. The best part was yet to come. He walked up to me and asked if he could wear my glasses because he liked the dizzy feeling he got from wearing other people's glasses, and I was more than happy to oblige. I then asked him when they were coming out with a new album and he replied by saying when I came up with a cure for sore feet. I tried to call my friend Jen so I could hand the phone to Tre, but Jen wasn't home. Oh well!
Now this was the other awesome concert I went to in the summer of 2001. The show was a 4 band show at Lupos in Rhode Island. We had originally thought that it was only going to be a two band show. It turned out that it was Flipp (who have unfortunately since broken up), the Mayfield 4, American Hi-Fi and Everclear (warning, Everclear is also no more, just Art and a bunch of other guys, just not the same). We had contemplated going to this show a couple weeks ahead of time but the decision was made final when Jen got a free ticket because she was helping promote American Hi-Fi. I'm glad we went because the show kicked ass. Clockwise from top left: Brynn Arens (singer of Flipp), Art Alexakis (singer of Everclear), Craig's butt (bassist of Everclear) Jen with Greg Eklund (drummer of Everclear) and me with Greg. I also met the rest of Flipp and the bassist of the Mayfield 4 but I didn't take pictures of them. I had all of the members of Flipp sign their setlist that I ended up with after the show and they all seemed shocked that I ended up with it. They were also happy that I bought their CD. We also met Stacy and Jamie from American Hi-Fi for the first time, but those pictures are on the next page.
