| The path ahead looks lonely And here with you I feel so safe If I chance the unknown wilderness Will you follow in my wake? Will you walk beside me down life's road And put your hand in mine Or must I go this one alone And leave you here behind? I cannot stand in this one place I cannot let life pass by But I cannot bear to leave you here When I spread my wings and fly I see in what the future holds A glorious hope of spring But you do not see things like do - You dwell on darker things So the question comes: your choice or mine Who decides to go or stay? Do I make the decision on my own Or listen to you say? Do I make the choice to leave alone Or to stay here with you Or is it yours to stand here still Or join, and walk on, too? My choice is made, I cannot stay I must go on with life Your choice is now whethere you'll come, too Or must we here say good-bye? Heather Dawn Morrison |
