| A beautifully sculpted castle sits lonely on the shore Its turrets and bridges leave you thirsty for more But soon the great, the horrid, hideous beast Will come crashing on the beach, devouring its feast The castle will be washed away in the bowels of the monster And we carry only memories of the castle on the shore Such as this in life our fantasies do always seem Their awe-inspiring perfectness as that within a dream Until the cold, hard world sets down its ugly foot Crushes all our hopes, leaves them blackened out as soot And they are gone away forever, lost in the eerieness of the real world But we'll always have the memories of our castles on the shore.
