The date goes well, resulting in passion levels rising in Troy�s car, that is until Thelma pops up and rather kills the mood! Cassie has to leave, creating a source of tension with Troy throughout the episode, and proceeds to argue with Thelma, �If I wanted a threesome I�d pick someone who�s alive!� before the ghost-sleuth bursts out with the fact that Cassie is a McBain! And roll with the opening credits, now with the inclusion of �And Geraldine James as Lilith Hughes�. After the credits Cassie goes to visit her mother in the home. She is clearly not well, but then we find out that she knows all about the McBain�s, and that Cassie is one of them, and it turns out that Azazeal somehow forced her into sending Cassie to Medenham�finding the Canari was inevitable she confirms, but Azazeal inhabits her head somehow�the implication being that she�s not really crazy, just driven to this insanity by the Nephelim��don�t fight him Cassie,� she warns, �you can�t win.� Oh this is also the first confirmation from within the show that the McBain�s were witches, and that Cassie is too. After Thelma notices a lot more Azazeal sketches on Cassie�s notes, Cassie goes to bed, where she dreams once again of Esther�nothing we haven�t seen before tho. Why is she getting these dreams? Thelma suggests it may be down to eating too much cheese before she goes to bed� but then ominously returns to the idea of history repeating itself��whatever happened to Esther,� she predicts, �is gonna happen to you!� And commercial break. Overlooking the tree where Esther died, it turns out that Headmaster David Tyrel knows all about the younger McBain. We learn that she killed her lover, which made the villagers believe she had the devil in her�so they killed her! Which was nice of them. After Cassie and Troy make up and arrange another date, Azazeal overhears her telling Thelma about it. Creeping into to Troy and Leon�s room that night, he pulls out a knife, and we think he�s going to kill Troy�but then he cuts his own hand, takes this caterpillar type thing and rolls it in the blood, before placing it in Troy�s ear, and it then burrows under his skin. Ew. After getting a message from Jo, Cassie goes back to see her Mum again, who gives her a pendant (�very J-Lo,� according to Velma) which will supposedly protect her against Azazeal and the Nephelim. But then once Cassie leaves, Azazeal appears, and it turns out the pendant is not for protection at all, but in fact makes Cassie �blind to the possessed.� If she can�t see them, he tries to convince Lilith, then she can�t worry about them. It is Thelma that persuades her to wear it, worried for her friend�s safety, and then later after a little incident where Troy gets very aggressive towards Leon when he dares insult Cassie, we see his eyes have gone all bloodshot, Nephelim style, which Thelma happens to see, but can�t convince Cassie of the fact that she�s not just the jealous ghost. Convincing her to wear the pendent again just in case, she reluctantly allows Cassie to go off on her date. Then later however, she sees a painting on the wall�it is a naked woman wearing Cassie�s pendent, seemingly making love to a bull�something clicks into place in her head, and she goes running off to find Cassie, who is currently getting naked in the slave quarters with possessed Troy�by the time Thelma gets there however, they�re all finished and getting dressed again. A quick look in the mirror shows us that Troy�s eyes are normal�then Cassie turns her head around, complete with what Thelma refers to as �manky eyes!� Is Cassie possessed? What�s going on?
