| 19 weeks-Nov. 17, 2003 Nothing really going on this week you are pretty quiet in there little guy! You are definately alot more active and I can feel your kicking very often several times a day now and I love it, it is such an amazing feeling to feel you wiggling and kicking in there. Daddy and Big brother still haven't been able to feel your kicks from outside my tummy yet, but I am sure they will be able to soon as your kicks seem to be getting a little stronger each week. I have found that there is something that you like: Any kind of potatoes~mashed, baked, fries (you like these alot) and Iced Tea really seems to get you moving! 26/27 weeks-Jan.5, 2004 Happy New Year! I know I haven't been writing entries, but alot has happened in the last few weeks...first off, we moved FINALLY! Our new place is bigger (2 bedroom, 2 bath) and we kind of had to get everything moved in a hurry, so that took all of our time in December. We are so excited about having more room. We are nearly settled...we brought your crib and mattress last weekend and Daddy set up your crib and I put your Disney bedding in. G ma Shirley, uncle Sam and Gaby came over christmas week and helped Daddy and I decorate the room with the Disney babies border, Disney stickers, your Disney coat rack and other Disney babies accents for the room. The room looks really cute! I am very happy with how the room turned out. I also went through all the clothes that cousin Eden and Aviva gave me for you and put them in your drawer...You have sooooo many clothes already, your dresser is filled to the brim with clothes! Many thanks to cousin Eden and Aviva for all the baby clothes, Seth you are definately set in the clothes department. On the growth front, my belly has really grown in the last few weeks. I feel HUGE! You were pretty active in my tummy before but over the last couple of weeks you really have been moving up a storm! It seems as though you are moving constantly throughout the day with very few quiet periods and it is such a joy to watch my belly jump and move. A smile spreads across my face everytime you give me a good jab. Daddy and big brother Cylle have had fun touching my belly and being able to feel you kicking and moving too. Daddy likes to shake and poke at my belly to get you to wake up and "play" with him, this has become a nightly routine with you and Daddy. Daddy pokes and you kick back as to say: hey don't do that! I can't believe that in less than 2 1/2 months, you will finally be in our lives...we can't wait! 34 weeks-March 1, 2004 Wow! What a whirlwind few weeks it has been! My belly has grown quite a bit and you are active 85% of the day now. All the pregnancy books say your activity level should be slowing down during the last few weeks of pregnancy because you are running out of room in my womb...HA! You could careless about the lack of room in there, you are still kicking up a storm! Mommy is nearing the end of her pregnancy and is very worn down and tired, you really are wrecking havoc on mommy's poor body little guy! In these last few weeks, Daddy and I are getting the final preperations for your arrival together...We have brought your diapers, wipes, diaper ointment and have your crib set up, all we have to do now is wash your clothes, which I will do next week and then wait until the baby shower to get rest of your baby gear and then we will be completely set for your arrival! I am also in the process of getting my hospital bag together...The baby shower has been set for March 20th and I am so excited! I can't wait! My dotors appointments have been going pretty routinely, with no problems until my last appointment the other day that is. I found out that I have gestational diabetes, which means I have to go on a special diet for these last few week and they will be closely monitoring me to make sure you aren't getting too big (In ges. diabetes babies tend to be born big). If you get too big, induction may become necessary. I hope you come on your own a couple weeks early to avoid induction because the majority of the time inductions lead to c sections, I would prefer that you come naturally on your own...Other than that not much has been going on I have been having a hard time at work because I am just so tired and achy it takes every ounce of energy that I have to get through the work day. I am definately looking forward to my 6 weeks of maternity leave I'll tell you that much! I can't believe that in less than five weeks you will be here! Grow, baby grow! And daddy and I will see you in a few weeks! |
