General Information
The competition will take place September 13, 14,and 15, 2002 in the Town Hall at Clayton, N.Y. The competition is open to pianists 25 years and under. There is no minimum age. Proof of age is required.
The number of contestants is limited to 24.
The Entry Fee is $35, made payable to Hessong School of Music.
A recording, to demonstrate the contestant's ability, is required from anyone who has not participated in a major competition in the past 3 years. Recording may be video, audio, or CD.
Practice facilities will be available. An unmarked copy of each contestant's music must be provided for the judges.
