Josh appeared on the ABC tv show "Blind Date", as part of a string of a reality show cast week it put together. Josh's date was Lea, who described herself as: " a fun, spontaneous woman. I am looking for a man who is social, funny, and also spontaneous. In my free time I enjoy dancing, writing, and partying. I believe it's important to be a good listener, and a loyal friend." Meanwhile, Josh described himself as: "energetic and easy going. In my free time I like doing anything athletic, write, and ride motorcycles. I am turned on by women with intelligence and a sense of humor. I won't tolerate any smokers."
On the date: Lea did not recognize Josh as 2nd place winner of the CBS Big Brother tv show. They went to a psychic where Josh's little secret was revealed. They went to dinner where they talked about Josh's new found fame, and how they don't like people obsessed in their own 'cliques'. They then had ice cream and beer at the bar, and Josh revealed that his perfect day would be camping on the beach. They both finished the episode off by telling the Blind Date Cameras that they had fun and would like seeing each other a second time.
