Germany!
July 13 thru August 3
I spent 4 nights along the Rhine River, 8 nights in Berlin, & 9 nights in and near
the gorgeous peaks of the German Alps
Susan and I in Cologne... after eating a meter of bratwurst and watching the guys next to us finish a meter of beer

Burg Rheinfels also along the Rhine in St Goar.. this one had tunnels below..
dark and easy to get lost in, but I made it out!

Wartburg castle in the middle of Germany at the fromer east/west border near Eisenach
Berlin and The Wall... with paintings from artists form the 70's - never did chip a piece off though...
Lots and lots of grafitti all over Berlin.
Brandenburg Tor where there used to be signs posted indicating that 'Achtung! you are now leaving the western sector'
The cathedral and TV Tower in Berlin... without that tower, I would have gotten lost many times.
