Ahoy Herring Islanders!
In an attempt to avoid much of the powerboat wake
in light air, and reduce the associated frustration level, we have established
two new courses that keep the fleet on the eastern side of Miles River.
The new courses are as follows:
COURSE 25:
4.0 nautical miles
X(A) > HP (185 deg - HP PORT - 1.0
nm)
HP > K (022 deg - R4 PORT - 1.9 nm)
K > J
(239 deg - G3 PORT - 0.5 nm)
J > X(A) FINISH (201 deg - 0.6
nm)
COURSE 26: 4.0 nautical miles
X(A) > J
(020 deg - G3 STBD - 0.6 nm)
J > K (060 deg - R4
STBD - 0.5 nm)
K > HP (202 deg - HP STBD - 1.9
nm)
HP > X(A) FINISH (007 deg - 1.0 nm)
