| My Tortoise Roxy Roxy is a female African Spur Thigh Tortoise. I have had her since the end of 1998. She was about 7 or 8 inches long (shell length) when I got her and now she is over a foot long. Currently she is housed in a large aquarium, but in the near future I hope to fence off a section of my reptile room for her to run loose, complete with a basking area and maybe a shallow pool that she can lay in. Roxy is a pig too. She is not picky about what she eats either, she will eat anything from lettuces to commercial tortoise pellets. Like with all my reptiles I like to vary her diet as much a possible. back |
