Diet: appropriately sized rodents (prekilled if possible)
Daytime temperature: 77-86 degrees F
Evening/night temperature: 65-68 degrees F
Minimum cage size: 40 gallon breeder or 55 gallon aquarium for 1 or 2 adults
Lighting: Full spectrum fluorescent light is recommended but not necessary, If not using another heat source, use a dome w/basking bulb
Heating: undertank heater or heat rock are recommended
Substrate: reptile wood chips,mulch,or soil bedding are recommended, but paper towel/news paper, or sand are okay
Other Info: as with any snake keep one half of the enclosure warmer than the other. Provide a hide box of some sort on the cooler end of the cage. Since cornsnakes are very good at escaping make sure to have a tight fitting screen top.
