The Cauldron: Seen as a symbol of the Goddess and fertility. Becomes the female symbol for the Great Rite. Used in magic that involves the materialization of a need. A focal point on the altar. Element is Water.
The Cup/Chalice: Like the cauldron, a symbol of the Goddess and fertility. Its element is also Water. Usually contains the libations taken after rites.
Besom/Broom: Used to cleanse the circle of negative influences before rites. It is also a protective device. I always have a broom hung over the front door of my home. Represents the element Water.
The Crystal Sphere: Used for scrying into during divination. Often placed on the altar as a symbol of the Goddess and her Lunar aspect. Represents the element Water.
The Wand: Used as an invocation device to call apon the Goddess and God. Also used to direct energy or cast a circle. Represents the element Air.
