America�s Best Comics is a comic book publishing brand created by Alan Moore. It is an imprint under the Wildstorm publishing company, which is now owned by DC. Moore seemed unaware of the connection the �ABC� name had to the defunct Better/Standard/Pines line of comics. When he was made aware of this connection, Moore decided to revive the �Nedor Heroes� for a two issue story arc of Tom Strong (issues #11 & 12). Using the basics of their golden age past, Moore modified the Nedor Heroes for today�s world and added more depth to the characters as he went. He even went as far to give the characters a back-story to cover their missing exploits (their non-publishing years after the golden age).

After the two issue arc in Tom Strong, Alan Moore and Peter Hogan co-plotted them in a spin off series dubbed Terra Obscura. So far, two 6 issue story arcs have been introduced and collected in TPB Volumes 1 & 2. Peter Hogan continued adding more background information on them in the third issue of ABC A-Z.

Moore has since left the ABC imprint and wrapped up his work on the ABC Universe with a few final "farewell" issues. What remains left of the ABC imprint and the future of Terra Obscura is still unknown at this time.
