Speaking out about a lie I'm telling myself.
A conscience and humility deem truth is told.
Every line of melodrama undermining feeling,
My feelings are merely a critical appreciation.
Exploiting a nothingness felt by a wannabe,
The representation you see before you is fixed.

Take it from me, truth sings better,
Dressed words only fool the tailor.

This deception plays out before you now.
Using formats stolen from idols unmountable
And a talent to bullshit reality with pretention.

Take it from me, truth sings better,
Dressed words only fool the tailor.

I'm changing my style,
Need to make it real.
You can't believe wordplay
And that's all I convey.
With the same inadequate scroll
But the air of an innocent poet.

Can't get that simple beauty
The people around me hold.
Living in a world of my own
And I put myself in it.
Thinking it was special,
Believing I could better them,
Now more lost than my enemies.

What if I'm throwing you?
These feelings expressed, lies?
What if I believe my message?
Why would you even care?
You're just hearing words.

I give credit to each one of you,
Only in time can you lose it,
But time is on your side my friend;
Take grasp of your life, force it where you want.
I'm crying in my life,
So you can be proud of yours.
