Blessed differings in each man's soul.
Love surpassing all known science.
The beauty, praised by my salt water,
Making me feel weak and desolate.

Giving slaves humble inspiration.
Showing them down a different path;
Break the circle, follow innocence,
You're more powerful than you pretend.

Empirical emotions ruling lovers minds,
Appearing to atrophy their confidence.
Destroying the compassion they need to breathe,
Changing me into their Iron Lung.

Compelled to inhale all, none are questioned.
Allowing the dark roots of their fears to grip.
Taking nothing more than it's crimson flower
And exhaling the poison and pain it brings.

Giving slaves humble inspiration.
Showing them down a different path;
Break the circle, follow innocence,
You're more powerful than you pretend.

I'm not your God, I'm not the respect you feel.
I carry my shame like the crucifix you ignore.
The impenetrable surface, grown cold and dark
Calls out to inspire monolithic hearts of fear.

My will is good but I've always been weak,
Force the reformation of your mind and soul.
Transgress these boundaries you marked out.
You're more powerful than you pretend.
