Training by Herofox Authors note: I think some people may be confused by the way I write my story As I switch from script mode to story mode. I use script mode for general conversations and humour parts And Story mode is for more dramatic scenes. I hope this clears it up for you. ~Herofox~ Previously, Saber defeated Tails with a brutal attack known as the "Tiger Claw" Now; he's returned to Sonic for more training. Sonic thought that Sally was a good motivator, so he took Tails to see his queen. Sally: I see. So Saber was the one who sabotaged the emerald transmitters. Tails: What? Sally: You see, according to Knuckles, someone broke into the emerald chamber and destroyed the transmitters that send power to the hyper chaos drives. (If you remember, in Season 1 someone invented a device that allowed the usage of Power from the chaos emeralds to be transmitted to the drives, allowing the user to go super.) Tails: So that's why Hound didn't try his super charge last time he was pestering me. Sally: Well I guess it may be for the best. So anyway, I'm here to help you beat Saber. You'll have to match him With Strength against strength. Tails: But how can I do that? Sabers a lot bigger and stronger than me and he knows a few powerful attacks! Sally: There's on1y one way to improve your power, and that's with a good out fashioned workout! So gimmie 30 laps around the castle courtyard! Tails 0_0: Jogging?! Sally: It'll build up your stamina and concentration. Now hop to it! 30 laps later- Tails: Huff...puff...how does Sonic...do this everyday? Wheeze! Sally: Now drop and give me 50! 12121212121212121212!!! (Starts walking like a crab as Tails does his push ups.) That after noon- As the sun was setting outside of little Tokyo, Storm was standing on a cliff. He had questions for someone close by. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWLLLLLLL!!! As his howl echoed through the valley, a lone saber-tooth opened his eyes from his meditation. "He's calling me..." spoke Saber. Then he leapt from his perch to the cliff where Storm was waiting. "I need to ask you something." Storm began. "Why did you attack Tails?" Saber then closed his eyes. "Because he is unfit to lead the Terra Senshi. He's not worthy of my power." "I see." Storm replied "But there's something else that's troubling me about you." Saber then opened his eyes to heed Storms question. "I've noticed that the chaos drives aren't working so well. Yoooooooouu wouldn't happen to know anything about that would ya?" Storm could then see a slightly evil grin appear on Sabers muzzle. "Yes I do. But the one you should blame for that is Hound." "What does he have to do with all this?" Storm asked. "You see" the large yellow tiger began "He thought that just because he could use a Chaos drive, that automatically made him a warrior. I had to put him in his place." Storm agreed that Hound was defiantly not worthy of such power. "I see." He said "But what about Sonic and Knuckles? Haven't THEY proven that they have the right to the emeralds power?" Saber replied again as he turned to leave. "Don't worry Storm. The pure of heart will soon adapt to this new twist." Then, he leapt off the cliff and raced down the side. Back at the palace- Tails was sweating like a pig after a sparing match with Bunnie. She was sweating too, but Tails was more battered than she was. Tails: @_@ I really need to work out more... Bunnie: Ya shouldn't try to beat a tough cookie like me with just brawn, shuga. It takes brains too. Tails: You're right Bunnie. But I just can't think straight. I mean, when I was fighting Saber, I thought I could beat him. But look at me. Even a girl can beat me. Bunnie: #¬¬ Why would losing ta ME be somthin' ta be embarrassed about...? Tails ^-^; Sorry Bunnie... But... When I was a kid, I used to think I was the best in the world. That no one could beat me. But Saber was one of the best fighters I've ever seen, and he's got a grudge against me. So what if the guys who stole the jets are even stronger than him? There's no way I can do this job for Sonic! As Tails sat down Bunnie walked over to him. Bunnie: Tails...? Tails (Looking up): Yeah? CRACK!!! (Yep, she slaps him =P) (Well the next thing you know, Tails is on the ground with a red mark on his face.) Bunnie: Sorry I did that hon., but it's the only thing to do with someone who's feeling sorry for themselves. (Tails manages to pick himself up.) Tails: You're right Bunnie. ^_^ Thanks. Meanwhile we see that Hound has took some cookies from the castle kitchen And is being chased by Antoine. Hound: Can't catch me! Tails: Oh yeah?! Bunnie: Hold on Tails. Antoine can handle this. Tails: He can? Bunnie: Yeah, no one's better with a sword than Antoine! (Hound heard her when she commented on Antoine's swordsmanship.) Hound: Oh yeah? I'll show you who's the best! (Hound draws his scythe and converts it to sword mode.) (Hound stands in a battle pose as Antoine runs at him with his sword drawn.) (Then we see a few slashes on a black screen as Antoine dashes through Hound.) (Hounds blade gets cut in half. ^o^ Yay Antoine!) Hound: What the hell was that for?! Antoine: You only reason you didn't get away is because you tried to compete with me instead of just leaving us alone! Tails thoughts: That's it... That's why I couldn't beat Saber! Bunnie: What's your plan? Tails: The reason I couldn't beat Saber was cause I was trying to fight like Knuckles. But I'm better fighting my own way. I don't have anything to prove, so I shouldn't have to beat him in that style. Now I know what to do! (He takes to the sky and heads for the workshop.) Bunnie: Hummmm...Ah wonder what he's up to?
