A Tale of Two Tails      by Herofox

(It's a stand off between Tails, leader of the Terra Senshi freedom Fighters
And Evil-Tails: Sovran of the Anti-Mobians)

Evil-Tails: This is it. The battle that shall decide the fate of this planet.
Tails: I don't get it. If you're me, then how could you be so bloodthirsty?
Evil-Tails: Huh! We may have the same face and the same name, but rest assured. We are NOTHING alike.
Tails: But you have a heart. I can see sorrow in your eyes, for all your friends who died during this war. 
Evil-Tails: Heh heh. I have no compassion for those bumbling weaklings. They failed to do their jobs and where destroyed as they deserved.
The woman I loved was one of the casualties my group suffered.
After she died, my heart had completely hardened.
Tails: And all this time I didn't think you had one.
Evil-Tails: Now is not the time for words. There is no room in this world for Miles Prowers! 
(He draws his sword)
Tails: As you wish!
(Draws his own sword)
Both: TIME TO DUEL!!!

(They rev up their tails and joust their swords together.)
(They then start to parry each other's attacks. Finishing with a clash, and sparks flying from their blades.)

(On the floating island, the freedom fighters prepare for to storm Robotnik's space station.)

Antoine: I've found the ship we used to get to earth six years ago. All we need to do is decide who's going and who stays.
Knuckles: I'll go to. I still have a score to settle with Robotnik.
Rotor: Then you should take this.
(He gives something to Knuckles and then gives a similar item to Sonic)
Sonic: What's this Rote?
Rotor: It's a dual chaos drive. When both halves are connected, they draw power straight from the master emerald. So you can actually use it to become Light Fist.
Sonic: Cool. But wont we be out of the transmitters range?
Sally: I think I have an idea. If we keep the ring gate open, there might be a way to have the energy transferred through it.
Rotor: I'll start work on it right away.
Sonic: Lets go guys!
(Sonic, Knuckles, Storm, Flash, Saber, Bubble, and Hound board a spaceship and blast off.)

(Meanwhile on the ARK.)
Snivly: Metal Sonic is ready for the transfusion, Dr Robotnik.
Robotnik: Egg-cellent! Sonic and Knuckles wont know what hit them!
(Metal Sonic is plugged into a machine. His power has been cut off.)
Soon my friend we will have your flesh and fur Rival on a silver platter!

(Back on Mobius, the furs really flying as Tails and Evil Tails battle for supremacy.)
(The two bang their swords together creating a great amount of sparks. They break the clash and fly into the air.)
Tails: Fox claw rockets!
(He fires his bombs at Evil-Tails who manages to dodge the attack.)
Evil-Tails: Howling star beam!
(Tails just about manages to dodge the beam.)
Tails thoughts: He's good. I just hope he can't go super like me.
(Evil-Tails flies above Tails and uses a double pound to knock him back down to the ground.)
(Evil-Tails then draws his golden sword and flies down at his good counterpart. Blade first.)
(With each passing moment he drew closer to wiping Tails off the face of the planet.)

(On the floating island, the angel stone on Mia's chest starts glowing. She then wakes up.)
Mia: What happened? Where is everyone?
Dr Quack: On patrol. Sonic, Knuckles, and the Terra Senshi are going to Earths solar system to battle Robotnik. The freedom fighters and Chaotix are safeguarding the emeralds.
Mia: Where's Miles?
Dr Quack: He's on Mobius.
Mia: Where on Mobius, you Quack!
Dr Quack: I don't know! Now get out of here and don't come back!
(Mia leaves the room.)
Mia: How rude.
(She then notices the Angel Stone in her pocket.)
What a pretty jewel.
(Uncle Merlin appears before her.)
Mia: Who the heck are you?!
Merlin: I relative of Miles. You have something that is needed on Mobius.
Mia: What's that?
Merlin: Miles placed that stone you hold upon you in order to heal you.
But now he needs the stone back to defeat the greatest of the Evil-Mobians.
Mia: Okay. But let me give it to him myself. 
Merlin: Hmmm...
Very well.
(He touches her shoulder and they disappear in a cloud of smoke.)

(In space, the freedom fighters ship has just passed through the ring gate to earths star system.)
Remington: I've prepared a little surprise for Robotnik. 
(Points to what looks like a missile with a drill for a nose.)
Knuckles, Sonic, I think you know what to do.
Sonic: Thanks Rem.
(Sonic opens up a door in the missile, and steps in with Knuckles who closes the door behind them.)
Hey! Move over!
Knuckles: Get your foot out of my face!
(While Sonic and Knuckles continue their argument, Storm and Saber load the missile into the torpedo bay.)

(The ship then fires a concentrated phaser beam at the ARK causing it's shield to de-activate for a minute.)
Remington: Now! Fire!
(The missile shoots out at the ARK. Using its drill bit, the missile burrows it's head into the wall of a room full of swat bots.)
Swat Bot 1: What's that?
Swat Bot 2: Let's take a look.
(Suddenly, the drill opens up releasing a blue and red blur that knows down a row of bots and the exits the room, slamming the door behind it.)
Swat Bot 1: Was it Sonic?
Swat Bot 2: No way! Nobody's that fast!
(Outside the room, Sonic holds a box with a button.)
Sonic: Would you do the honours?
Knuckles: I thought you'd never ask!
(He presses the button.)
BADOOOM!!!
(The missile explodes, taking the swat bots with it.)
Now lets get Robotnik!
(They run down the hall way.)

(Back on the ship)
Storm: Mr Remington, I suggest you take the ship back.
With all these metal Sonics you'll only be putting yourself in danger.
Remington: Sure. But I'll send for reinforcements if it looks like you need help.
(Storm becomes Silver Storm
Flash becomes Neo Flash
Saber becomes Super Saber
Bubble becomes Magna Bubble
Hound becomes Hyper Hound
(The five Terra Senshi exit the ship and begin their attack on the fleet of Metal Sonics)

(Back to Tails who is seconds away from becoming a shish kabob.)
(Evil Tails strikes down with his sword just as Tails dodges out of the way.)
(Tails smacks Evil-Tails with tails, causing his to drop his sword.
(Tails then begins the Tail Spin attack: Hitting his opponent multiple times with his tails.)
(The good Tails then starts punching Evil-Tails several times in the face and in the stomach.)
(He finishes his barrage of attacks with a final tail slam, knocking Evil-Tails flying into the side of a building.)
(Tails the throws a couple of Fox Claw Rockets at Evil Tails, who races through the explosions and rams into Tails knocking him down before spinning his tails and taking to the skies.)
(Tails gets up off his backside and flies up after his leather-clad rival throwing a barrage of bombs at him.)
(The two exchange blasts before landed and seizing their swords.)

(Merlin and Mia arrive on a hill overlooking the battle.)
Mia: Miles!
Merlin: Quiet.
Mia: Why?
Merlin: My nephew's weakness is that is values life.
Mia: Why does that make him weak? 
Merlin: If those two knew that you're here, Evil-Tails could easily use you as a shield and then Miles would have to surrender Mobius to him.
Mia: But I can't stand, just waiting around watching them fight.
Merlin: We must all endure things we dislike.
(He disappears in a cloud of smoke.)

Mia: Wait! Where did you go?
(She turns to the battlefield.)

(Tails and Evil-Tails grab their swords and jump into the air, clashing the two golden blades together.)

(Over to Robotnik's control room.)
Snivly: Sir! We have a couple of unexpected guests.
(Turns on a monitor to show Sonic and Knuckles sneaking around.)
Robotnik: Good. Now you may activate the final trap.
Snivly: At once sir.
(He flips a switch and metal Sonic starts glowing.)
(His armour changes from blue to red and his eyes light up.)

I LIVE!!! BWAHAHAHA!!!


And so, the legendary trio face their greatest adversaries to date.
On Mobius, Tails battles valiantly. 
Through fights with Storm, Thundercloud, Nack, Omegabot, and Even Sonic,
He has acquired the courage of a true hero.  
But will his bravery be enough to stop Evil-Tails who posses the same Experiences 
And Even the same powers?
And this time, the bad guy hasn't even played his trump card yet.
