The ultimate Burrow Bot   by Herofox

(Sonic Knuckles Tails and Storm broke into Robotnik's old fortress and challenged Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts, who acquired new supped-up bodies, to a 
Fight to the finish. Sonic destroyed Coconuts and Now Knuckles has to stop Grounder.)

Tails and Storm are running down a corridor when they see a door.
Tails: That must be where Scratch is hiding!
Storm lets get 'em!
(They bust in)
Tails: We have you now!
Storm: Give up!
Both: 0_0!
(The sweat because they've just broke into a ladies changing room full of young girls.)
After an embarrassing silence...
Tails ^///^ Wrong room... Heh Heh!
Storm ^///^ Err...don't mind us! Just passing by!
(They step out.)


(Knuckles has cornered Grounder.)
Knuckles: Stop!
(Grounder then charged at Knuckles who jumped at the wall, glided over Grounders head 
And shot him with a Chaos blast.)
(Grounder then turned and charged at Knuckles again.
But Knuckles leaped off the wall, glided over Grounders head, and blasted him again.
Grounder tried to tackle Knuckles for a third time,
But Knuckles repeated the same trick and hit the giant robot with another chaos blast.  

This kept up for about five minutes before Knuckles became frustrated.
Knuckles: This isn't getting us anywhere!
Grounder: Of course not. You'll never beat me with those puny chaos blasts.
Knuckles: But the last time I fought a Mega, my chaos blast wiped the floor with it.
Grounder: That's because I'm equipped with super strong armour.
It's an experimental metal called, Neo Titanium. 
(Apologies to Gundam Wing for using that ^^;)
It's the strongest substance in existence!
(With that, the large Rhino-droid charged at Knuckles again but crashed through the wall,
and shot a bunch of missiles that blasted Knuckles through the wall.

Back to Tails and Storm
Storm: Why are we still running?
Tails: I've already been slapped twice this season! 
You think I'm gonna stick around for another hundred?
Storm: Good point.
(Then they see Hound running up chased by Sally.)
Hound: Outta my way!
Sally: Bring back my panties!
(Tails and Storm, instinctively wrap one tail each around one of Hounds legs
causing him to trip.)
Sally: Good work guys but what are you doing here?
I thought you where with Sonic?
Tails: So the tunnel in Robotnik's fortress leads back to the castle?!
Storm: Back down the hall!
(Tails and Storm run back to Robotniks fortress.)

(Later they find Knuckles who's pulling himself up from some rubble.)
(Sonic makes the scene too.)
Knuckles: Grrr...Grounders tough.
Grounder: Damn right! Nothing can penetrate my Neo Titanium armour!
Sonic: We'll see about that.

"Hey Knux, can ya walk?" Sonic asked.
Knuckles responded "Yeah, let's do it..."

FUSION-HA!
(Suddenly, Sonic and Knuckles started glowing bright purple.
When the light faded, Sonic and Knuckles where gone
In their place, stood a Purple creature with Cobalt blue eyes,
Long, echidna like dreadlocks and hedgehog style spikes.)
 
"Light Fist..." Tails gasped. 
For Sonic and Knuckles could only perform this powerful transformation
When they used the dual chaos drive.
He was puzzled as to how the two long-time rivals could fuse without it.
But then he remembered what Saber had said.
"The purity of heart is the key."

"So why could I do it as Shadow Fox?" Tails asked himself as he remembered when Robotnik
had implanted one hundred evil mind control bugs infused with Shadow the Hedgehogs DNA.
Then it struck him. Shadow Fox was pure evil.
But the emeralds needed purity of heart to empower a mobian.
"That's it! To tap into the Chaos power, you need to have a pure heart! Whether it's good or evil!"

Then he started concentrating on what would happen if the doomsday machine 
Was activated, and everything he had to protect.
His friends, his family, all millions of innocent people who'd suffer if he didn't find Scratch. 

Then he started glowing, and became Hero Fox!
"Good to see you again friend." Light Fist greeted.
"You look well too" Herofox responded to the fusion of his two best friends.

"Prepare to die!" Grounder Roared as he fired a bunch of missiles at Hero Fox and Light Fist.
(When the dust cleared the two supreme Mobians stood unscratched,)

"Why do they always have to do thing the hard way" Light Fist sighed as he shot
a small Solar Force blast that smashed Grounder into a wall.

"Hero Fox, Scratch is heading to the moon to activate the doomsday machine."
Spoke the Purple Hedgehidna (Hedgehog/Echidna)
"Well he wont get that chance. I'll see to that!" Hero Fox said before flying 
through the roof after Scratch.

Storm meanwhile felt that his presence was no longer needed 
"I'll go get some back up. It's pretty obvious that you don't need me here!" 
he said jokingly.
"Good Idea storm. There may be more Badniks lurking around" 

As Storm left the room, Grounder charged at Light Fist with his huge metal body.
But as soon as he was close, Light Fist hit Grounder with an uppercut that sent him
Flying into the air.
"I'm gonna come down on ya like a ton 'o bricks" Yelled the large Rinobot
as he descended back down.
"Alright, STORM ATTACK!" Light Fist Yelled as he raised one clenched
fist to the sky and shot a blast of Sonic Wind, trapping Grounder.
Then a barrage of Knuckles Thunder Arrows struck Grounder one after another
Causing his systems to go haywire.
He crashed down in front of Light Fist, covered in access electricity. He didn't have long to live.
With a quick blast of Solar Force, Light Fist finished the job.
"look." He said to himself as he picked up a pice of debris. 
"Grounds registration number."

Grounders number was
C.U: 5302
(C.U. is short for Combat Unit.0

Meanwhile Hero Fox was chasing Scratch through space.
"Don't do it Scratch!" He yelled to the big Eagle robot.
"Why not?!" Scratch yelled back, with pure hatred in his voice.
"Robotnik scrapped my because of all the times you outsmarted me!"

Tails knew what Scratch was talking about. But he had outsmarted badniks with the
Same serial number plenty of times. But they where never scrapped.
Then it hit him. The one thing Scratch Grounder and Coconuts had that was 
Different from any other robot...

Free will, and self-determination.

"Robotnik scraped you because he hated you." Hero Fox spoke in a cold tone
Scratch yelled back to Hero Fox, surprise by what he said "What?!
"It's true." The Golden Tenco said "Cause Robotnik thought people shouldn't have the right to make their own choices in life!"
Scratch growled at the Foxes impudence.
Hero Fox continued to throw insults 
"It's not a sin to think for yourself Scratch! 
You were given that power so that you become stronger and smarter!
You don't have to forget everything you were programmed with,
You just have the ability to improve on what you learn!"

"You're a fool Prower!" The winged droid screamed
"Robotnik built me with all the smarts I'll ever need!"
At that moment, Tails rage erupted
"If your mind wasn't so closed you'd understand! You can always learn new things!"
BIG BANG BEAM!!!!

Then he shot a powerful golden blast of energy at Scratch, who just managed to 
Manover out of the full blast by caught his wing in the beam causing him
To crash face down on the surface of the moon. 
Then he picked himself up and recognised the area. 
This was where the Doomsday Machine was hidden.
 
Hero Fox landed behind Grounder.  
"It's not too late" he said softly. "You can make your own decisions in life."

Scratch smiled. He knew what to do.
"You're right...I can choose my own path." 
"And I choose to do this!" as he pressed a red button on a remote control.

The entire moon shook violently as a hidden metallic structure arose from under the ground.
A small capsule appeared on top of the structure and a pair of glowing
Red eyes lit up.
