(Early one morning Miles and Mia are discussing their plans for the day.)
Mia: Personally Miles, I think you deserve a day off. Can't the others do without you for just a few hours?
Miles: I get your point Mia, but knowing my luck, Knux will probably call at just the wrong moment.
Mia: I know! The empire has never attacked at night. So lets go out!
Miles: I don't know...
Mia: Listen, we've been an item for about two weeks, and I would like to actually go out on a date with you!
Miles: Ok. How about that new sushi bar that's just opened?
Mia: Sure! Can you pick me up about seven?
Miles: I'll be there!
Mia: Hey Miles...
Miles: Yeah?
Mia: If we are y'know...boyfriend and girlfriend...Lets seal it.
Miles: Seal it?
Mia: Like this. (Puts her arms around his neck.)
Miles: Oh. (Puts his arms around her waist.)
(They close their eyes and move in to kiss.)
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
(Miles starts growling with a cross on his head. He reaches for the ring gadget and pushes the button.)
Miles: THIS BETTER BE IMPORTANT KNUCKLES!!!
(Knuckles backs away from the screen in fright.)
Knux: Err...we've located two more emeralds?
Miles: I'm on my way!
(Turns to Mia.)
Miles: Don't worry; I'll be back in time for our date.
Mia: Just be careful Ok?
Miles: Sure.

(Miles runs to the ring gate so fast he knocks Cassie over.)
Cassie: Watch where you're going Miles!
Miles: Sorry can't talk now!  

(He reaches the gate, transforms, and jumps through.)
Tails (still running): Hi guys! See ya later!
Knux: Tails wait!
Tails: What is it now?
Knux: Care to know where the emeralds are?
(Tails gets a sweat drop.)       
Tails: Oh...sure.
Julie-su: The first is hidden in Hilltop village somewhere. The second is in the mystic caves.
Tails: Right! (Starts to run off again.)
Knux: One more thing!
Tails: GRRRRRR!!!
Julie-su: Err...we found your old jet anklets.
(Mina gives Tails a pair of silver anklets.)
Tails: Thanks!
Mina: You're welcome!
(Tails starts to run off again.)
Knux: One more thing!
(Tails pins Knuckles to the wall and growls at him.)
Knux (With sweat drop): Good luck?
(Tails walks off.)

(Meanwhile.)
Sally: Bunnie and Storm, proceed to the briefing room.
(They arrive through the door.)
Sally: We have found a chaos emerald in the hilltop zone. Go find it!
Storm: Sure, how many mechas are you sending?
Sally: No mechas. Just you two.
Bunnie: Just us?
Sally: Yes. This time we shall use the art of stealth. 
Storm: But what if Tails and his friends find us? 
Sally: They wont if you remember to stay hidden.
Storm: But how do we get to the hilltop without a mecha?
Sally: Bunnie will fly and Storm will ride on top.
Storm: What's the movie on this flight?
DONK! (Bunnie just hit him.)
Bunnies' thoughts: Why do I get stuck with this comedian?
 
(Tails is flying at sub-super-sonic speed.)
Tails: Boy I'm getting tired. I wish I still had that biplane.
(He arrives outside a village on a hill.) 
Tails: Now if I were an emerald, where would I hide?
(Suddenly, a grenade exploded.)
Tails: Ouch! Hey! Watch where you're throwing those things! 
(Tails look's down and see's Sonic, so Tails lands and the two get talking.)
Sonic: Sorry Tails didn't see you.  So what you doing here?
Tails: Usual, looking for emeralds, you?
Sonic: I got a report from anonymous bystander who said that Storm and Bunnie were going to ambush you at the hilltop zone.
Tails: Those two couldn't box there way out matchbox! 
(Joke...get it...Match...Box...oh forget it.)
Sonic: Well if your, sure you can handle 'em?
Tails: Handle 'em? 
(Both start to laugh, and fall over kicking them selves laughing.)
Tails: (Trying not to laugh.) Well ok, but just keep an eye out.
Sonic: Right, now get those emeralds.
(Tails takes off and heads for the hilltop zone.)
Tails (speaking to Knux on his ring gadget): Emerald located, E.T.A, 12 minutes.
Knux: Good, did you see Sonic?
Tails: Affirmative, (military talk.) Approaching Zone, see you later, don't forget, wherever or whatever I'm doing, at 7pm I'M GOING FOR MY DATE!!!
Knux: Fine, I got that. And next time DON'T SHOUT!
Tails: DON'T SH...out, ok ...I am shouting, But there's nothing I can do there's this high-pitched noise and it's hurting my ears.
(Tails was right, the high-pitched noise was deafening and guess where it came from...you guessed it.... ta ta ta dahhh...Bunnie and Storm. They had some kind of noise making machine.)
Tails: See you Knux. (Closing comm's.) 
Storm: This time I'll get you! 
(Storm draws his axe. He jumps off Bunnie and lunges down at Tails. Tails bats Storm to one side with his sword and Storm land head first in a compost heap.)
Bunnie: Now you're mine! 
(She starts shooting at Tails with her plasma cannon.)
Bunnie: YEEEEEHAAAAA!!!
Tails: Darn! Can't get a clear shot.
(Just when it seems hopeless.)
?????: SONIC WIND!!!
(Suddenly a Blue sphere rushes to Bunnie, shouting these words, the sphere emits a large gust of blue wind throwing Bunnie into the side of a mountain.
Tails: Sonic you made it.
Sonic: Wouldn't miss this for the world.  Who do want?
Tails: I owe Storm so I'll take him.
Sonic: Bunnies mine then, 3...2...1...go.
(Both of them go after their selected counterparts, and a 2 on 2 battle royal starts.) [Wrestling phrase.]
Storm: How dare you! This is my best shirt!
Tails: It's going to be nothing but rags in a minute.
Meanwhile...
Bunnie: Take this...(Blasts Sonic with her miniature Plasma blaster.)
Sonic: You know I'm too fast for that thing.
Bunnie: Oh, YEAH?
Sonic: YEAH! (He lunges at Bunnie and farts saying sonic wind.)
Bunnie: That isn't sonic wind, but that sure as heck smells. Take this 'Bunnie buster' (Her extending arm shoots out at sonic but he dodges it just in time.)
Sonic: Hey that was a little too close.
Meanwhile...
Storm: OWOWOWOWOWOWOW! That hurt...
Tails: Well duh...it was meant to...here have another one. (He tries to poke him in the bottom but Storm blocks it.)
Storm: How's that for a bit of defence? (He lunges at Tails with his axe.)
Tails: (Storm slices a few hairs from his tail.) You'll pay for that! (He takes a couple of swipes and Storms pant fall down.)
Storm: Hey! You robbed me of my decency!
Tails: Well your gonna have to manage like the rest of us do.
(They continue to clash their weapons together.)
(Meanwhile)
Bunnie: Hey get off my hair! Owww! That hurts!
Sonic: OK! SONIC WIND!!!
(He blows Bunnie over the edge of the cliff. He lands next to Tails.)
Sonic: Lets nail this blowhard with both gusts!
Tails: Right!
(Tails spins his tails to create a blast of wind. Sonic is using sonic wind. The two attacks send Storm flying into Bunnie as she was trying to climb up again.)  
Sonic: Well that takes care of them then, hey have you got the time?
Tails: sure.  It's 4.30pm; I still got 3 hrs before my official date with Mia.
Sonic: Well while you were battling for the first few minutes, guess what I found? 
Tails: A lost puppy?
Sonic: NO!!!
(Sonic pull's out an emerald.)
Tails: Oh! That.
Sonic: Yep.
Tails: So will you take me to the mystic caves? I kind' a forgot where it is.
(Sonic falls over in stupidity.)
Sonic: You have been out of the loop a while. Well the caves are where we used to play as kids.
Tails: I think I remember but I just can't think of where it is.
Sonic: Well it doesn't matter, now what happens I will never give up the fight!
Tails: Where'd that come from?
Sonic: Dunno but it'll make a good song.
(Sonic and Tails start to run, and as a background theme to this fan-fic, the theme from 'Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog' will be played.)



Will our hero's find the other emerald?
Will Sonic ever make a DECENT song?
Will Tails get back in time for his Date?
