| BIO: A thousand years ago during the Silver Millennium, he was prince Endymion, prince of the Earth kingdom and suitor to princess Serenity of the Moon kingdom. Hundreds of years into the future, he and his wife Serena will rule the world from Crystal Tokyo. In this day and age, he is Darien Chiba, a loving family man by day and the caped superhero Tuxedo Mask by night. When he was a child, he lost his parents and his memory in a nasty car crash. Orphaned, he was a lonely young man with no direction in life until he met Serena. When there would be trouble around his native Tokyo, he found himself fighting the forces of the Dark Kingdom, and coming to the rescue of a girl named Sailor Moon. Eventually, Darien found out that this Sailor Moon was indeed Serena, the girl he had been infatuated with, and she found out that Darien was Tuxedo Mask. As their love for one another grew, so did their strength. Together, there is no evil they and the rest of the Sailor Soldiers cannot defeat. HIS PLACE IN THE MULTIVERSE: I've always thought as Tuxedo Mask as one of the most underappreciated characters in all of anime (easily in the top 5). Sure, in the beginning of the Sailor Moon series he starts out pretty decent, but later in the series he tends to get pushed just a little bit more and more out of the spotlight until he's written out of the script completely. I want to bring back more than a little bit of respect for the Earth prince. I've enhanced his powers a bit (you'll notice this in later chapters) and made him a little more eager to go into battle as opposed to wait for his "danger sense" to kick in whenever Sailor Moon gets in trouble. By the way, while you may be thinking, "Why not just put Sailor Moon in?" It's mostly because Sailor Moon already has a superhero troop under her command while Tuxedo Mask just seems to come in every once in a while. Tuxedo Mask is going to be a forced to be reckoned with once this gets going. |
