Ok, unless you've been living under a rock for the past couple weeks you know that there is a WGA (Writer's Guild of America) Strike. Basically, all the the writers in the guild are not allowed to write until this is resolved. This issue is mostly over DVD sales, Internet sales, etc. and the writers getting their fair cut. So what does this mean for our shows. Well, for Smallville as of right now there are 15 episodes written. They are working episode 15 as a season finale just in case this is not resolved. For Heroes, this means a season end in December--at the end of this Volume (season 2 was split half into Volume 2 and half into Volume 3). Keep in mind people that this is a WORST CASE SCENARIO. Although by the looks of things, this is not going to end anytime soon. If they do decide to end the seasons as the given times above, they will pick up again in the fall of 2008. I will keep you posted on further updates. In the meantime check it out at Wikipedia. Also listen to House of El Podcast  (for the Smallville fans) and The Tenth Wonder Podcast (for the Heroes fans). These guys do a great job and can give you a better perspective than I can.
