Video game essay Did you know that 81% of adolescents are playing video games? Video games are becoming increasingly popular today as technology is advancing and video games have more interests in them, but some say that video games are taking over child life, and parents are concerned because games are sometimes distractions. Actually, non-violent video games are beneficial to adolescents. Video games are good because first, It helps your social life, also, It can help you improve your problem solving skills and It simply helps you relax. Here are some examples. Video games can improve your problem solving skills, because video games have strategies, and some video games have quests, which also require problem solving. Some opponents of video games say that you can do the same thing with worksheets, but are worksheets as fun as video games, most people probably won’t think so. Video games can also simply help you relax, because video games were made to just help you relax, and “60% of games are rated E for everyone” according to Scott Steinberg of ABC News, so there are a lot of selections for a safe and relaxing family video game. Video games can also help your social life, because Multiplayer games can improve social skills by player-to-player communication, and encourage teamwork and more than 70% of people play with friends, so a lot of people are benefiting from this. Some opposing claims might say that sports can do the same thing, well, yes, but can you play sports as relaxing as you play video games, no that why video games are good for you when you what to relax. That isn’t it! There are much more benefit from playing video games, for example, Winning games can help build confidence, failure in games can help people deal with failure in real life and video games help the brain cooperate with your hands, as you use keyboards or controllers to control the game and much much more, and opposing claims always say other things can deliver the same effects, but they can never deliver it the same relaxing way that video games do. And a lot of parents hate video games because they are concerned that video games serve as a distraction to students, causing poor academic performance, but actually they aren’t, video games can even be beneficial to parents too, for example, increasing their life length by destressing and by increasing their reacting speeds to things, sometimes this can save lives. Some opposing claims say that video games are wasting people’s time, and they are not nice for the whole family, but "Games can definitely be good for the family," says the ESRB's Patricia Vance, and that “60% of games are rated E for everyone” according to Scott Steinberg of ABC News, which was mentioned earlier in this essay. So video games aren’t bad because they have overall more benefits than downsides, because they improve your problem solving skills, contain a lot of life skills, and can also even make you live longer, and improve your social life. My Vacation narrative.
On the 5th day of summer, I was so excited, I will be going on vacation the next day, but I was also scared of the plane flight. The next day on the plane, I was right, I was extremely uncomfortable for 14 hours on the plane and after I got out, I was tired, I can't even stand up! But it was one of the happiest moments in my life, because I finally got off the plane, and that means I'm in Europe! Then we got on a train and we went to London, we got a modern apartment on airbnb so we went in, ate snacks for dinner, we were ready for the next day's adventure. The next day, we woke up in the morning, ate some more snacks and went on our little adventure, we went to a big palace in the middle of London, there were a lot of statues there, we went on a bus tour as well, I even fell asleep, we went back to the hotel, bought some sandwiches and instant noodles from the local supermarket and ate dinner, then went to sleep. The next day we did basic playing around the city, then, we went to the airport, left London, and went to Rome the next day. After 2 hours on the plane, we arrived at Rome. At Rome, we rented a car, went to the hotel, and ate some dinner, then we went to bed, prepared For the tour on the next day. The next day, we got up quick, ate some breakfast very fast and then we went on the tour, we went on a bus and then got off to walk around a place where all the famous stuff is at, we went to about 10 famous places, then, we had a big lunch of spaghetti, pizza, parmesan cheese, and more, then, we toured Vatican, then, we went back to the hotel, prepared for the next day. The next day, we went to tour the city ourselves, then, we drove 6 hours, stopping in the middle for one building, then, we went to Venice, went on a boat, and toured, we went to a hotel, rested for 2 hours, then, we went to a plaza, got on a canoe ride, then, we went back and rested. The next day, we were leaving Venice, but we got fined on the boat for no reason because the ticket seller didn’t explain clearly, we left Venice leaving a bad yelp review for the boat company, then we saw a lot of reviews about the same thing, we were so mad, but this didn’t ruin the trip for us, we drove for another 6 hours, then we got to Nice in France, we went to the beach, and we played with rocks, then, we went to buy some McDonalds and went to sleep, ready for the next day's adventure. The next day, we met my mom's friend, which we also met in Las Vegas, we were amazed on how our vacation planning was so similar and we met twice without any sign. We also went to Monaco, where all the rich people in Europe live and then we took 3 hours to get through a huge traffic jam to get back to our hotel, we walked to McDonalds, ate a huge meal, and we rested and went to the final stop, Paris. The final stop is long, we stayed for four days, the first day we checked into our hotel, took some rest, then, we were ready for our trip. The next whole day, we went on a bus trip, as always, I fell asleep again, but I still saw a lot about Paris, and we also went to the Eiffel tower. The next day, we went to a museum that is very famous and it use to be the palace of Louis XIV, it is called the Louvre Museum. The next day we went on a boat tour, then, we went shopping, the last day, we left Europe. This is the end of a great adventure.
