Sound File Page
I've been working on a batch of songs based on some of my musical interests over the years. I've decided to offer some demos free of charge for your listening enjoyment. I've decided to post just one song to test the waters. If you like what you hear and would like to hear more songs, then please click on  the "donate" icon below to donate $1.00 to the "Keep the Music Playing!" Fund. As soon as a satisfied listener casts his first dollar donation, I will be more than happy to post more songs :-)

Backstory on Samplitude: Around 1999 I purchased SEK'D's Samplitude Studio 4.5 for $399.00. SEK'D did a great job of providing free updates to the software. I was able to upgrade to 5.58 for nothing. Around 2001, SEK'D sold the Samplitude line to a company called Magix. Magix handled the upgrade to 5.9, but get this: it cost 600 bucks just to upgrade from 5.58 to 5.9, to which I said "no way, dude!" When they upgraded to 7.0 and above, Magix had the audacity to charge $1500 bucks and up for it! Magix may have done a great job of updating Samplitude to compete with Cubase, but they did a crappy job of remaining faithful to Samplitude's customer base. If they had offered a more reasonably-priced upgrade (say, around 100 bucks or less), I would have happily paid for the upgrade, but to spend MORE money on the upgrade than I spent for the original program, forget it!!!!!!
