Under 9's Division One
Herne Bay Harriers (away) - FC Stripes
Venue:  Polo Ground, Cheriton Road, Folkestone, Kent
Kick off - 2.30pm

Score Half Time (1-3)
Full Time Score (2-7)

Harriers had a disappointing start to the new season away to FC Stripes.

Beginning well in the first half Harriers scored first, through the determined efforts of Cameron Tait, however this appeared to sting FC Stripes into action and despite some gallant defending by Daniel Van Orsouw and Jacob Blackwell, the continued pressure brought three goals for the Folkestone team. Half Time Score 1-3.

The second half saw things deteriorate further for Harriers with poor marking and discipline letting the Stripes back in command which resulted in a further four goals, the only bright spots being efforts by Ben Tamplin hitting the post and Sam Hudson scoring a consolation goal with the help of a deflection. Full Time Score 2-7.
