Harriers entered this game with local rivals without a point so far this season and looked to have grabbed three points, through a fine goal headed in by Billy Bailey.
Harriers dominated the first half and thought they had gone further ahead via a corner let in by the Herne Bay Youth keeper from Sam Hudson, but this goal was disallowed.

The second half proved a struggle for the Harriers despite fine defending by Daniel Van Orsouw and Ben Hibben and saves from Ross Mole.
Eventually Herne Bay Youth's pressure told and once the equaliser was gained, they found confidence, scoring a further two goals in quick succession to win late in the game.
