Herne Bay Harrier Colts under nines suffered their first defeat of the season to Division One leaders Dover Athletic FC in the EYFKL Cup .
The Harriers dominated most of the first half and finally fell foul to a poor clearance which the home team capitalised upon to score their first goal after 20 minutes.
Dover scored their second just before half time from a fierce drive at distance that was saved by Charlie Crane only for the referee to judge the ball had crossed the line.
The Harriers pushed forward in the second half with chances being missed by joint man of the match Billy Harding ,Tom Wake and Daniel Bennett.
Charlie Crane kept the Harriers hopes of a revival with numerous saves near the end as the Harriers pushed forward to salvage something from the game.
The home team deservedly came out winners ,however, The Harriers gave them a rough passage through to the next round .
