Herne Bay Harrier Colts continued in their winning ways hitting six against 3rd place Betteshanger Welfare. The home side were never in trouble and the goal tally could have been much higher.Tom Wake, The Colts hotshot striker opened the scoring after just 1 minute from a well worked cross field play involving Michael Butler who received Man of The Match praise for his endless running in midfield. The second goal was the reverse of the first with Tom Wake slicing open the away teams defence for Michael Butler to slot in from close range. Harrier Colts continued to apply pressure on Betteshanger and Tom Wake poached his second from close range from a rebounded long shot effort from Billy Harding. Tom Wake then really killed of the game with his third goal and recorded his second hat trick of the season with a blistering left foot shot from the edge of the box that crept in off the post. Major changes were made to the Harrier formation at half time which saw the introduction of Danny Mantovani, Harry Gilbey and Keiran Brett to the attack, which saw Kieran score his successive league goal of the season and the Harriers fifth. Billy Harding continued with the blitz by scoring his sixth of the season with long range right footed shot from 20 metres that the goalkeeper could only parry into his own net. To round off the match Ben Rogers and Tom Wake were re-introduced to the attack who both caused further torment to the away side with Ben hitting the post with nearly the last kick of the game. .
