Under 9's Division One
Herne Bay Harriers  (home) - Kennington
Venue: Herne Junior School
Kick off - 2.30p.m.

Score half time (1-0)
Full time score (1-2)

This was a well contested game of football throughout with both teams looking to win the game.

Harriers began the first half solidly with Ben Hibben and Daniel Van Orsouw in defence but found it difficult to mount meaningful attacking moves.

However towards the end of the first half Harriers gained a corner which was well swung in from the left by Sam Hudson for Ben Tamplin to volley home brilliantly. (1-0)

The second half began with Kennington more on the attack resulting in an equaliser midway through the half from a hopeful long shot (1-1)

Harriers then had a fine spell of play with Billy Bailey starring and a near miss from Jacob Blackwell.

Unluckily Harriers conceded another goal very late on to lose (2-1)

This was a very good performance from the whole team in particular Cameron Tait and Billy Bailey up front and Thomas Inglis and Ben Hibben in defence.
