MATCH REPORT HERNE BAY HARRIERS U12�s entertained AFC Margate at Briary School in the Parker Steel League and were unlucky to loose to a late Margate winner.
Margate benefited early in the game from a Harriers own goal. But the Harries battled back and draw level when Russell Gower delivered the perfect ball for Josh Wells to break away and finish in the far corner.
Margate pressed the Harriers goal, but for some outstanding defending by Man of the Match Carlo Monticolombi, Damian Moody-Smith in the Harriers goal and a goal line clearance from Jonathan Culver, Margate could have extended their lead.
Just before half time, good play from Robert Tait and David Crane in the mid-field lead to the Harriers taking the lead, as they set up Lewis Senft to score his first of the season and allowed the Harrier to go in at half time 2-1 up.
In the second half Margate evened matters when the scored from a corner and with minutes remaining they secured all three points
