MATCH REPORT Herne Bay Harriers U12�s threw away a 2 goal lead as they were beaten 5- 3 by Canterbury Eagles in the Parker Steel League.
In a game of two halves the Harriers started brightly and took the lead with a goal from Josh Wells. Minute�s latter Robert Tait split the Eagle�s defence to set up Jack Bishop for the harriers second.
Canterbury pressed the Harriers goal but excellent defending by Ryan Blackwell and Man of the Match Jonathan Culver allowed the Harriers to go in at half time 2 ahead.
Early in the second half Canterbury scored 2 quick goals to draw level. As the Harries chased the game the Eagles took advantage and extended their lead. David Crane delivered the perfect corner for Carlo Monticolombi to scored the Harriers third. But the Eagles were the victors at the final whistle.
