MATCH REPORT Herne Bay Harriers U12�s could not match division 2 leaders, as they were beaten 3 � 0 by Ramsgate Youth FC. Soon after the kick off Ramsgate were awarded a corner and from this they took an early lead.
The Harriers defence held together until midway through the first half when Ramsgate�s direct approach paid off as they extended their lead. The harriers through the first half could not keep possession and give the ball away to often.
In the second half the Harriers gave an early penalty away for the third consecutive game, which Ramsgate converted. The Harriers then started to play football and as the game progressed, Josh Wells, Michael Tritton, Robert Tait and Michael Epps, in the Harriers mid-field, set up chance for Jonathan Culver and David Crane.
At the other end Damian Moody-Smith in the Harriers goal and Ryan Blackwell, Carlo Monticolombi, Michael Smith and James Putnam in the Harriers defence kept he score line respectable. On the day Ramsgate were worthy winners.
