MATCH REPORT HERNE BAY HARRIERS U11�s played their best football of the season when they defeated Herne Bay Youth FC 7 �1 in this local derby.
The Harriers struck first with two quick goal minutes into the game, when Phillip Harris, playing left mid-field set up Michael Epps and Lewis Senft in virtually identical moves.
Jack Bishop then extended the lead for the Harriers after good approach play from Robert Tait, Ryan Neat & Jonathan Culver. Just before the break
Scott Venn, in the Harriers goal could do nothing to stop The Bay from pulling one back.
In the second half it was one way traffic as the Harriers applied themselves with excellent over lapping runs along the channels from James Putnam, Michael Smith, which resulted in goals coming from Josh Wells, Russell Gower and Man of the Match David Crane.
Where as Damien Moody � Smith in the Harriers goal, in the second half had little to do, but in there was still time for Jack Bishop to head in from close range after a well-worked corner.
