MATCH REPORT Herne Bay Harriers u10�s claimed their 17th straight victory with an all too easy 8-0 thrashing of Active Margate colts. In a game that Harriers dominated from the start it was strange that it took 12 minutes for Harriers to open the scoring .
The goal came from a fine solo effort from Shane Moody-Smith. The Second came two minutes later with moody-smith this time providing a cross for Stuart Austin to slide home. Margate seemed to rally for time after the second goal and only superb tackling from George Hardy and James Lawrance- Benge and a wonder stop from keeper Cullum Helman kept them from scoring.
However Margate rally was short lived with Aiden Gawler dominating in mid-field Harriers soon scored a third form Moody-smith leaving the score three-nil at half time. Harriers began the second half aggressively and scored twice within the first two minutes through Jack Davey and Ben Rowland. Harriers now rampant laid siege to the Margate�s goal. First Gawler, then a third from Moody-smith and second from Rowland took Harriers within one goal of scoring a hundred for the season.
