It was an ordinary night at Hogwarts; the sun was setting over the lake, students making the most of the last few moments outside before curfew. Harry and Hermione were still outside; Ron had gone to a chess tournament, so they were alone, reading a book, well Hermione was. Harry was more or less staring at her, watching her facial expressions, figuring out her quirks. He knew, she always chewed her pen when she was annoyed, when happy she would sit with a small almost hidden grin and when she was thinking about something she would blink a lot, and bite her lip. Harry noticed she was chewing on her lip, which looked very close to bleeding, her book was upon the ground, and she was reading a red journal, which read � Property of Hermione J Granger. Do not touch.� He decided that he never wanted to read another diary again since the Tom Riddle fiasco, except his own of course, which was protected by a number of curses and spells.

Hermione�s face was only just visible by the sunlight, which was slowly fading. He realised that Hermione had, big, chocolate brown eyes, he had never noticed before and her hair, as frizzy as it was, was elegant in it�s own way. She was beautiful, but where-as girls like Cho and Lavendar knew this, Hermione was either oblivious to the fact or just didn�t care, which Harry admired, as everyone seemed to be shallow nowadays. The sun was now almost set and the sky was a burnt orange, turning blue/black, He turned to the bushy haired girl next to him and whispered � Hermione, do you want to go back up to school?� She shook her head and stood leaving her diary open at the page she was writing in, forgetting that Harry could plainly see it. Hermione walked over to the lake and untied her shoes, took off her tights and waded into the water, till it came just below her knees. While she was paddling, Harry couldn�t resist sneaking a look at her diary, who could? But what he saw, not only shocked him. But also made a lopsided grin appear plastered on his face.

Harry smiled, finally he knew she liked him, he ran over to her and pushed her over into the water laughing. Hermione got her self up, and pulled him back down, then they started running through the grounds near the lake chasing each other, in tears of laughter.

Harry started singing in his sweet, now broken voice. Unbeknown to the duo, Ron and Ginny had come out to find them, as it was hours since curfew, they had watched them in silence, playing around near the lake.

Ginny: I can see what's happening, Ron: What? Ginny: And they don't have a clue, Ron: Who? Ginny: They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line their trio's down to two. Ron: No way!

Ginny: The sweet caress of twilight there's magic everywhere And with all this romantic atmosphere magic is right there.

Ginny points to where Harry and Hermione are stood now playing punch me, punch you.

Ginny: Can�t you feel the love tonight, Ron. The peace this evening brings. The wizard world for once in perfect harmony, With all its living things.

Harry: So many things to tell her, Harry stares into Her eyes. But how to make her see He looks away again. The truth about my past, impossible Harry shakes his head. She'd turn away from me He turns his back to Hermione.

Hermione: He's holding back, he's hiding Hermione stares into His eyes. But what, I can't decide She shakes her head. Why won't he be the guy I know he is? He looks at Harry with his back turned. The hero I see inside? She pulls Harry round to face her.

Ginny telling Ron (still not understanding): Can you feel the love tonight? The peace the evening brings this wizard world, for once, in perfect harmony with all its living things

Ron finally realises what his sister is trying to say

� Oh, they are in love with each other. Why didn�t you just say that?�

Harry and Hermione: Can you feel the love tonight? You needn't look too far Stealing through the night's uncertainties Love is where they are Harry and Hermione split apart and run away, Harry goes towards the lake, Hermione towards Hagrid�s hut. Before each of them sing into the night air.

Harry: It's enough for this hero-worshipped wizard boy.

Harry and Hermione face each other and start running towards each other while singing. Harry and Hermione: Just to be with you!

This was wrote, while listening to the pre recorded songs on my keyboard, this song was on it, so I decided to write this fic that just came to my head. Kind of stupid, but to be honest, it�s probably only me who can visualise this exact scene.
