These are the rules of Hermit`s Fire
NO OOC convo's: The only OOC that will be tolerated will be greeting/parting or post clarifications.
NO moding, MP3 players or excessive sexual comments, please show some class and maturity.
NO Speeding: Short posts or posts of a sentence or two are fine. Please avoid consecutive posts of only a few words as the FLOOD LIMIT will be set, usually 4 or 5 posts per 7 secs. These bans will be removed for those whom this occasionally happens to, but not for repeat offenders.
Fighting IN room: For the most part this room is a safe haven, HOWEVER S/L fighting will be allowed. Please post on main for people not to jump into your S/L if BOTH parties agree, and have your chars go to a distant part of the clearing or on the other side of the waterfall, away from main fire when possible. Be WARNED, if your char comes in God-Moding or starting too many unfounded fights, do NOT complain when the other chars in room converge on yours to "handle" this. People coming into the fire and picking random fights WILL be subject to a possible death by defenders without having to agree to the death. Chars who die in room will be banned by Nick.
For a death in the room, or a DM to be valid BOTH people involved MUST FIRST IM hermit33, Exclius, or Ebil`Bunny that both parties acknowledge and agree to the possibility of death on either hand.
Any death occuring from an ongoing s/l that the character has been actively and willingly participating in shall be considered valid regardless of circumstances as participation is considered an acknowledgement that deaths can occur.
Speed Fighting MUST be taken to #Hermits_Training_Grounds as it will disrupt room and activate Flood Ban. Some ops are available to to judge matches, if you think you need one try to ask ahead of time. (*see also: Fighting rules)
Pregnancies
While we know that many games allow a full term 9 month pregnancy to be rp'd out in just one week of IRL time, we prefer a slightly more realistic period. Pregnancies in the Fire will last at LEAST six weeks, but two months is actually preferred. You are always free to rp your pregnancy longer if you wish, but six weeks is the bare minimum that will be allowed.
