Ronald, also known as Ron, Weasley is the 3rd part of the HP trio: Hermione, Harry, and Ron. He met Hermione when she ran into them in his and Harry's compartment on their first train to Hogwarts looking for Neville's toad. She bewildered both of them with her magical skills. After a very close mountain troll incedent, in which Harry and Ron saved Hermione, the trio became great friends. And, if you look at details more closely, you'll find that Ron and Hermione may become even greater friends. The two have a classic love-hate relationship. And no, I'm not just being stubborn, Ron and Hermione will get together- I heard it with my own ears from JK Rowling's own mouth! She also said in a separate interview that Alfonso accidently put alot of clues into the Prisoner of Azkaban movie about the last two books. And what could be a bigger clue than Hermione grabbing Ron's hand? Anyways, ever since the trio became great friends, Ron has accompanied Hermione and Harry on their big adventures.
