(As said by Jo on her official website--->) Crookshanks, as anybody who has read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will have guessed, is half Kneazle. And if you don't know what a Kneazle is, you need to hurry up and buy Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (all royalties go to help some of the poorest children in the world).
(As said by me :) --->) Yep, there you have it. Crookshanks is part cat and part Kneazle. I WOULD read the deffinition of a Kneazle here, as I have Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them just in the next room over... but that would be slightly cruel. If you want to know, go out and buy the book at most any typical book store! Only about 4 to 5 US Dollars! And the money does go to some of the poorest kis in the world! So this is an extra reason to buy it!
There have been many rumours about Crookshanks- such as he is an animagus of James, maybe even Lily. But these rumours have been resolved once again by Jo! He's not an animagus. Just simply a hybrid Cat/Kneazle! |
