Ruperts only apperances before Harry Potter had been playing the role of Rumplestlitskin in the Grim tales and everything. Until then he had just been another soccer loving schoolboy. He saw an anouncment for an audtions for Harry Potter and composed a rap song promoting himself as Ron. His mum filmed it all for him, "It was a bit dodgy," Says Rupert, "but it worked." For the audition he impersaonated his drama teacher, who was a lady. Loving the Harry Potter series Rupert found out about auditions for the future film, so he got the part even though he was only in one school play. |
