~!*!WELCOME TO THE MAGICAL WORLD OF BEE!*!~

At the core of the story in The Lord of the Rings are the creatures that make up Middle-earth: The Hobbits, Dwarves, Humans, Elves, Wizards, Trolls, Ents, Orcs, Ringwraiths and Uruk-Hai....
Each creature has its own rich way of life, its own customs, myths, ways of dress and even style of fighting. Each is fully developed in The Lord of the Rings, creating the essence of a living, breathing world just beyond our own history. HOBBITS Hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin) are gentle little creatures who are close to nature, an almost child-like group who live off the land. With an average height of 36", the furry-footed creatures dwell deep in furnished holes on the sides of hills. They love the simple things in life: smoking pipes, eating, and, of course, storytelling. They live to around 100 years old, with the age of 33 marking the start of adulthood. ELVES Elves (Legolas, Arwen, Elrond, Galadriel) are noble, elegant, magical beings whose time are running out and who possess a bittersweet sense that they are now about to pass into myth. Although they could be slain using metal/fire or die of grief, elves are immortal in that they are not subject to age or disease. DWARVES Dwarves (Gimli) are short but very tough, with a strong, ancient sense of justice and an abiding love of all things beautiful. Small in stature, they can live to be about 250 years old. WIZARDS Wizards (Gandalf, Saruman) are supremely powerful and can use thier power(s) for good or either for evil, depending on where their hearts lie. MEN: Men (Aragorn, Denethor, Eowyn) in The Lord of the Rings are a fledgling race just coming into their own-- the people of Rohan Thier culture centres around horses and thier soldires are excellent riders who patrol the lands north of their ally, Gondor. The Rohirrim are led by ailing King Theoden. He had son who was killed by orcs,a nephew, Eomer who leads the soldiers of Rohan and a niece, Eowyn who develops a strong crush on Aragorn. the Gondorians Men of Gondor are a prideful race but one with a highly developed code of honour and ethics. They have been wisely ruled for centuries by a long line of Stewards. The Throne of Gondor belongs to Aragorn, who is the rightful heir. This made a conflict between him and Boromir, who's father is the current Ruling Stewrd, Denethor. OTHER CREATURES: Are even more fantastical-- The leaf-covered Ents Ents are forest shepherds that originated as trees inhabited by spirits to protect all the trees and flora. The Ents have dwindled away over the millennia, partly through their own lethargy and also due to the lack of mates the Easterlings Easterlings are a savage and violent race of men who joined the ranks of Saruman's dark army. These men were corrupted by the evil ways of the first Dark Lord, Melkor, and then Sauron. The misshapen Orcs Orcs fight and serve for Saruman. When you see how ugly the orcs are, remember that they once used to be Elves before they were enslaved and tortured. the terrible Uruk-Hai Known as the Berzeker Uruk-Hai, these massive warriors wear no armour when they fight. The sinister, black-cloaked Ringwraiths Ringwraiths also known as the Nazguls are neither living nor dead but cursed to live in the twilight world of Sauron. BACK 1
