Piper, the "eldest sister",
has the ability to stop time. This power first just came whenever
she panicked, but of course as time went on she learned to control
her freezes, along with the unfreezing.She was able to freeze and
unfreese certain people and even body parts. Her Second power came
in Season 3, this power let her blow things up. Her first power
worked by slowing down molecules, so the new power speed the up.
Which of course comes in handy when you don't have a vanquishing
spell. She used to be the "middle"sister and had to be the peace
maker between Prue and Phoebe. Because she had always a elder
sister to count on, she was very sad when Prue died.Leaving her
to lead the Halliwells all in a sudden. She was really very very
devastated.This could be seen when she turned into a fury because
she was angry that Prue left her without any guide and anything to
count on. However, with Paige's arrival, she recovered slowly and
focus all her attention on Paige which sometimes causes
misunderstanding between the two of them.
