News About JK Rowling's Last Chapter
In a forthcoming BBC television interview, she also says there will be more deaths -- possibly including one of the long-standing characters -- and a dash of teenage romance too.
In the profile of Rowling, to be broadcast on Friday, she says she sketched out the plots for all seven books long ago but has actually written the final chapter of the final book.
In the programme, she allows the cameras to see the final chapter: "This is it and I'm not opening it for obvious reasons.
"This is really I'll wrap everything, it's the epilogue and I basically say what happens to everyone after they leave school, those who survive -- because there are deaths, more deaths coming."
She hinted that one of the long-standing characters could be killed in the forthcoming three books.
"More people are going to die, and there's at least one death that's going to be horrible to write."
There will also be further romance following on from "Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire," the fourth book in the series, in which he has a date with a quidditch team-mate.
And Harry will develop more of an interest in Hermione too, one of his best friends.
Rowling said there will be "more boy-girl stuff, inevitably.
"They're 15 now, hormones working overtime. Harry has to ask some questions that I hope the reader will think 'well why hasn't he asked this before?'"
