James Potter:
James Potter is Harry's late father. He bears a striking resemblance to Harry, except for two minor things. James has deep brown eyes, and there is no scar on his forehead. He was once a Chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and was quite good at it. His best friends were Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. He was a Prefect, along with Lily. When he graduated Hogwarts, he married Lily, and had Harry. He died protecting those two from Voldemort at Godrics Hollow.
Lily Potter:
Lily is Harry's late mother. She does not resemble Harry much, except for her startlingly green eyes. She has red hair, and is very pretty. She was also a prefect at Hogwarts, and was very clever. She died protecting Harry from Voldemort. Her mark of love saved Harry from many dangers ahead.
Sirius Black:
While not directly related to Harry, Sirius is his Godfather. At first it was believed that He sold Lily and James to Voldemort, and that he once killed 13 muggles, but in actuality it was Peter Pettigrew. Sirius spent 12 years in Azkaban for crimes he didn't commit. He was the one who bought Harry his Firebolt. He is an animagus, and transforms into a great black dog. When he told Harry that he was his Godfather, he offered Harry a place to live. But unfortunately, Peter escaped that night. Sirius is on the run currently, but keeps in contact with his Godson.
Vernon Dursley:
Vernon is Harry's uncle. He is a very mean man, and is often torn between getting rid of Harry for 10 months at Hogwarts, or making him mad/sad by not allowing him to go. Like I said, a very mean, unpleasant, and boring man. He does not like imagination, or rather, anything out of the ordinary. That's why he doesn't like Harry.
Petunia Dursley:
Harry's horse-toothed aunt. She is a lot like Vernon, since she doesn't like Harry at all. She didn't like her sister (Lily) either.
Dudley Dursley:
Harry's cousin, who is as wide as he is tall. He is horridly spoiled, and is as mean as his parents. His favorite hobby is pounding Harry. He once had a curly pigs tail placed on his fat bottom by Hagrid. They got it removed privately. *snickers*
Hermione's Parents:
As of now, we have very little information about Hermione's parents. They only thing we know is that they are dentists, and both Muggles.
