Clark sighed, it had been a very long two days and he was exhausted and missing his lover. �Time to head home,� he muttered, stretching hard. �See you guys for the next emergency.�
�Goodbye, Superman,� J'Onn acknowledged him with a nod.
�Bye.�

The Flash quirked an eyebrow after waving. �I wonder where home is,� he murmured, then he grinned. He�d always wanted to pit his speed against Superman�s. �Beer anyone?� Flash asked. After the usual negative responses, he sped off in secret pursuit of Superman.

It wasn�t too hard to track the big alien, The Flash was used to high speeds, so while most wouldn�t be able to even see Superman, Flash could *and* keep up.
�Yeehah,� he laughed. He was just about as fast as Superman, how cool was that?

Clark flew home quickly and carefully, as always, landing just inside the gates of his home and changing into jeans and a t-shirt before he went inside. His lover was not a fan of the Superman costume.
Their home was not what anyone would expect, which was precisely why they�d bought it; under Clark�s name. A nice looking, bland family home. Very anonymous.
The front door was flung open and he grinned as his lover flew out of the door and into his arms.
�Clark! You�re okay.�
�Yeah,� Clark chuckled, �No thanks to you.�
Pouting, Lex Luthor raised an eyebrow, �I resemble that remark. Like I�d do anything that would keep you away from me for *two* days!�
�I missed you too, Lex.� Clark smiled softly and ran a finger over his lover�s smooth skin.
With a happy sigh, Lex leaned up for a kiss. Sometimes, it was hard work being the evil villain to Clark�s superhero, he didn�t see his alien lover half as much as he�d like.
But it *did* work, and had been *his* idea in the first place.
Clark swung Lex into his arms and carried him into the house, figuring the older man wouldn�t mind as it had been two days.
�Clark!� Lex couldn�t help chuckling. He wrapped his arms round Clark�s neck, �C�mon, lover, I want you in bed *yesterday*.�

�Uh�� The Flash blinked uncomprehendingly, �Wha��
No. that couldn�t be right. He hadn�t just seen Superman with their worst enemy, the one man who caused them the most problems, had he? And *kissing*?
�I don�t believe it,� he whispered, �I can�t believe it.�
Slipping round the side of the house, Flash found an open window and speeded inside. He had to be completely and one hundred percent sure before he told the rest of the Justice League of his discovery.
Running up the stairs, Flash headed for what appeared to be the master bedroom� if the noise was anything to go by anyway. Very carefully, he pushed the door open just a little, and had to bite back a gasp.

�Clark,� Lex sighed. He pressed his lips to Clark�s and then sucked on invulnerable skin. �Clothes.�
With a burst of speed, Clark stripped them both off and lay on the bed, Lex on top of him. He pulled his lover down and gently licked the bald man�s ear.
Laughing, Lex kissed his lover hard, probing between plush lips until he could taste unadulterated Clark. Shifting, he straddled the bigger man, rocking his erection against Clark�s hard length.
�Uhh,� Clark groaned and gripped Lex�s hips tightly, thrusting up against his lover�s slim body. �Want you in me, Lex, now.�
Squeezing his eyes shut in an attempt at control, Lex moved between Clark�s legs and pushed them apart. He reached over to the bedside table for the lube and hurriedly slicked up his aching cock.

He burst into the Justice League headquarters, startling Green Lantern, who was on watch.
�Flash? What�s wrong?� Green Lantern asked in concern.
�Get the others,� Flash panted, �Not Superman!�
�Huh?� Green Lantern frowned.
�Just do it,� Flash urged him.
�Okay, okay.� Green Lantern shook his head and put out a call to the rest of the Justice League; except Superman.

�You did what?!� Hawkgirl exclaimed.
�I followed him, okay?� Flash sighed.
�How could you, Flash?� Wonder Woman asked, shaking her head, �You know how adamant he is about no one knowing who he is, not even us.�
�I know� I was curious, what can I say?� Flash shrugged, �But listen, you�ll be glad I did when I tell you what I saw.�
�Really?� Green Lantern drawled sarcastically.
The Flash�s eyes narrowed in annoyance. �Well fine, if you don�t want to know about Superman and Lex Luthor, I won�t tell you.�
�What?� Batman snapped, slamming his fist onto the table, �Flash, what are you talking about?�
Sniffing, The Flash pouted, then he sighed. �I followed him home and guess who was waiting to welcome him?�
�Luthor?� Diana asked in confusion. �What happened? Is Superman okay?�
�Oh sure,� Flash snarked, �I�d say Superman is fine, considering I left him being well and thoroughly fucked.�
All of the others reared back in shock.
�And you left him there?! Didn�t you try and help him?� Diana gasped.
�Puh-lease,� Flash snorted, �Superman was begging Luthor for it.� He crossed his arms defensively against the disbelieving looks the others were giving him.
�You can�t be serious!� Batman shook his head in denial.
�Oh deadly,� The Flash affirmed, �I can show you.�
�Whoa, hang on a second here,� Green Lantern raised his hands, �There must be a logical explanation for this.�
The Flash made a rude noise. �Like what? Come on, man, Superman�s betraying us with Luthor right now.�
�I just can�t believe it,� Hawkgirl whispered.
Flash sagged suddenly, �I know. What are we going to do, I mean he�s *Superman*!�
�If Superman is in league with Luthor, we must do something now, do you not think, Batman?� J'Onn asked.
�A pre-emptive strike?� Batman frowned, then nodded. �You may be right. Call him in GL, don�t let on that the rest of us are here.�
Green Lantern nodded and went to the communications room.
�We have some Kryptonite in the vault, haven�t we?� Batman asked, his face serious.
Diana shook her head and sighed, �Oh no.�
�We won�t hurt him, Wonder Woman, we just need to be sure *we* are safe before we find out what�s going on,� Jean tried to comfort her.
�He�s on his way,� Green Lantern said as he returned to the group.
�Flash, get the Kryptonite,� Batman ordered.
�Yessir,� Flash nodded with an edge of sarcasm.

Clark flew dispiritedly back to headquarters. Normally, he would have said no, especially as he was with Lex, but GL had sounded so� odd.
Lex had been really pissed though; hopefully he would forgive him when he got home again.
�What�s happened?� he asked as he alighted. A wave of nausea swept through him, growing stronger as the others approached him. Nausea was joined by pain and Clark dropped to his knees with a groan. �What are you doing?� he gasped, quite unable to comprehend why his friends were using Kryptonite against him.
�I�m sorry, Superman,� Batman said sorrowfully.
�Why?� Clark whispered before he blacked out.
The rest of the Justice League looked at each other guiltily, before picking up the unconscious Superman and carrying him to the medical bay where they could restrain him.
�I�m not sure about this,� Diana sighed.
�I know,� J'Onn agreed, �But if Superman had explanation, he will understand that we needed to be sure of our safety.�

�Lex,� Clark groaned quietly as he came round.
�See, told you,� Flash pointed at him.
�Quiet, Flash,� Green Lantern snapped.
�Why are you doing this?� Clark asked in confusion.
�Superman, we�ve had some very disturbing news, and I�m afraid that until we can be sure of you, we�ll be keeping you restrained,� J'Onn said quietly.
Clark frowned, �What news?�
�I followed you home, man,� Flash said suddenly.
�Oh no,� Clark breathed, despair dawning on him.
�Oh yes, yes Lex,� Flash made a lewd gesture.
Diana slapped Flash hard. �Don�t be so disgusting.�
�Hey!� Flash complained.
�What happened to innocent till proven guilty?� Clark asked quietly.
�Sorry, Superman. Flash saw you with Luthor and you�re too potentially dangerous to get the benefit of the doubt,� Batman sighed, �We will listen to whatever you have to say though.�
Clark snorted, �Oh gee, thanks for that.�
�You have to admit, it looks bad, Superman,� Hawkgirl pointed out regretfully.
�Tell me, Flash, just what did you see?� Clark asked seriously.
�You and Luthor kissing and hugging. Then I followed you inside and saw you both in bed,� Flash explained, �I left as soon as I realised what you were actually up to.� He pulled a face.
�I take it you didn�t stay long enough to hear him tell me he loves me?� Clark asked quietly.
Diana shook her head sorrowfully. �Oh Superman, how can you believe him after all he�s done?�
Clark smiled, �He�s never done anything the two of us hadn�t planned and agreed on first.�
�What?!� They all gasped in shock.
�I�ve known Lex since I was fifteen years old. We�ve been lovers since I was seventeen, when I finally got the nerve to tell him I was a �big, gay alien� as he put it,� Clark grinned at the memory of Lex�s initial reaction. �It was Lex who got the idea for me to be a superhero and it was Lex who decided that with his money and reputation, he�d be useful on the other side of the fence. He gained influence over as much of the criminal element as possible so we could keep tabs on them.�
�You expect us to believe that?!� Flash scoffed.
�If this is true, why didn�t you ever tell us?� Diana asked.
�It was risky. The more people who knew, the greater the possibility of being found out,� Clark gritted his teeth, �That would put Lex in danger and that is unacceptable.�
Batman shook his head, �You realise this just makes it look worse, Superman, you could just have easily been manipulating our side as theirs.�
Clark sighed, �I don�t know what else to say, I�ve told you the truth.�
�I think we need to talk to Luthor,� J'Onn suggested.
�You�ll leave him alone,� Clark said fiercely, worried that they�d put his lover in danger.
Batman sighed. �I think we need to talk about this.�
�I agree,� J'Onn nodded.
The others nodded too and they left Superman alone.

Lex snuck carefully into the Justice League headquarters, using the codes Clark had given him.
He�d been very angry when his lover had gone back into �work�, but after no contact for far too long, he�d started to get worried.
Then the alarm had gone off.
Both he and Clark were fitted with special alarms that were connected to each other. If absolutely necessary, they could always contact each other.
Lex was terrified, he didn�t mind admitting to himself. Clark had never used his alarm before. But there was no way Lex wasn�t going to find his lover and help him.
He headed straight for the communications room to check the security cameras. In one room sat most of the Justice League, apparently arguing. In the medical bay was Clark, strapped down to a table. What the hell was going on?
Lex hurried to Clark�s location and slipped into the room.
�Clark?� he whispered.
Clark looked up and grinned, �I knew you�d come.�
�Of course I came!� Lex exclaimed, �Jesus Christ, what�s going on? Baby, are you hurt?� He hurried over to the table and gently stroked Clark�s hair, dropping a kiss on his forehead.
�I�m fine,� Clark tried to reassure him, �Just a little sick from the Kryptonite.�
�Fuck!� Lex snapped, �Kryptonite? I thought these people were your friends, Clark!�
Clark smiled ruefully, �They are, they just don�t understand about us.�
�Us?� Lex asked as he searched for the Kryptonite, �But how did they�?�
�Flash followed me home,� Clark explained.
�Aha.� Lex switched off the machine that was radiating Kryptonite and turned to help Clark remove his restraints. Then he grabbed his lover and hugged him tightly.
�God damn it, you scared the crap out of me,� Lex breathed, �You did tell them everything, didn�t you? You didn�t try to protect me, please tell me you didn�t!�
�I told them, just like you said I should,� Clark nodded, running his hands up and down his lover�s back soothingly. �They didn�t believe me.�
�What?� Lex gasped, �After everything you�ve done for them! God, and to use Kryptonite on you��
�Shh.� Clark put his finger on Lex�s lips to stop him ranting. �It�s okay, really.�
Lex sighed and shook his head, burying his face in Clark�s neck. �No, it�s not,� he mumbled, �Good guys; what a load of crap.�
Chuckling, Clark lifted Lex�s chin and kissed him. Lex kissed back hard, leaning up against his lover�s body.
�I don�t think we have to worry anymore, lover,� Clark whispered, nodding his head in the direction of the door.
Lex span round, surprised to see the other members of the Justice League standing there. He automatically placed himself in front of Clark to try and protect him if necessary.
Wonder Woman smiled, �And there�s the final proof.�
�Huh?� Lex looked around in confusion. �Wait a minute�� Lex turned back to Clark and raised an eyebrow, �They were watching and you knew.�
Flushing, Clark nodded a little guiltily, �I figured they would, I wanted them to see what you�re really like.�
�I wouldn�t have believed it if I hadn�t seen it,� Green Lantern said quietly.
�No, but I�m mad at both of you,� Hawkgirl folded her arms and raised her eyebrows.
Lex just shrugged. �The only opinion that matters to me, is Clark�s.�
Clark smiled sappily. �I�m sorry, guys, but we�d been doing this long before the Justice League was formed. It would have looked strange if things had suddenly changed.�
�True,� J'Onn agreed.
�What about now?� Diana asked.
Clark frowned, �What do you mean?�
�Will anything change?� she continued.
�No,� Lex said firmly, before Clark could say anything.
Pulling a face, Clark started to speak. He had hoped that maybe, now it was out in the open, Lex would �change sides�.
�No, Clark,� Lex interrupted him, �I�m too useful where I am.�
Batman nodded, �That is true.�
Clark sighed, �I suppose so. I just� I miss you all the time.�
�I know,� Lex said quietly, reaching up to stroke Clark�s cheek.
�Jee-sus!� Flash exclaimed, �I�m getting cavities here, how sappy can you get?�
Rolling her eyes, Wonder Woman elbowed him in the stomach.
�Hey, ow!� Flash huffed.
Lex ignored The Flash. �Right, we�ll pretend this never happened then.� They all nodded. �Good, now, if you don�t mind, Clark and I were a little busy when you called��
Clark chuckled at his friends� expressions. They stood aside and Clark led Lex out to take him home. �See you guys in a couple of days.�
�And not before!� Lex said adamantly.
