| i sat on the edge of the bed, the smoke in my lips, the sun was out, it was nice out, i looked at her, in the bed, fast asleep, her legs stretched out beside me, "come back to bed." she sounded so loving, i wish it was real "i cant,i have to go now." i wish it wasnt such a surprise every time, "come on lover, the sun just came up." she put her arms on my back, and pulled me beside her, i looked in her eyes, so caring, but i couldnt stay, its not how it works. i kissed her "sorry baby, i had a fun time, i have to go" she looked so sad, but i knew i was right, im always right. i felt her hand slide off my back as i got off the bed, i slid my pants on, grabbed my shit together, i hate this, i headed for the door and waited, she looked at me, from her bed, naked, innocent, i looked at her. our eyes held, i tilted my head. "baby." her eyes turned cold, "take your fucking money, its on the counter, you whore" its funny how fast a heart can change |
