| My name is Matt Staska. I�ve been drinking legally for over a year now. I grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida and still live in West Palm Beach, Florida. I picked up the guitar when I was 11 and still play often, even though my love is the bass. I started out playing the bass when I was 15, playing mostly jazz and funk. I soon got into my first band Southwest 7th Street, playing mostly jam-band funk and jazz. The last band I was in was AMA, with Matt Krug, and as we didn't get very far, it has really infulenced our music today. Some of my influences include: Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, Flea, Matt Freeman, and others in that field.
