| My name is Evan Noto. I was born June 23 1984 at St. Mary�s in West Palm Beach. I�ve been playing guitar since I was 7 years old, and drums since I was 12. I�ve been playing with different groups of people since middle school but none worth sticking with. Most of my drum influences are people like Brain, Stewart Copeland, Chad Sexton, Billy Cobham, and others of that sort. I was into hard rock bands as a kid groups like AC/DC, King�s X, ZZ Top, and then started listening to bands like Social Distortion, Rancid, that led to me being into all the raunchy punk rock. I ended up getting bored with the same structures, sound, and time signatures. That�s when I started listening to jazz 70�s acid rock bands like Mahavishnu Orchestra, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Michael Brecker, Spyro Gyra, Weather Report, Pat Metheny, Al DeMeola, Love, Captain Beyond, The Allman and the Doobie Bros, Frank Zappa, The Doors, Spirit, and Dr. Nerve. After all that stuff I missed bands who just kept it simple and wrote good songs, guys like SuperDrag, Thrush Hermit, 30amp fuse, My bloody Valentine, Bob Mould, Becky Sharp, Ammonia, Supergrass, Appleseedcast, American Football, Alkaline Trio, Mock Orange, At the drive in, and you will know us by the trail of dead, Knapsack, The Jealous Sound, Benton Falls, Kula Shaker, and old Hot Rod Circuit. I enjoy playing n listening to music, surfing when there is waves and I�m not working, carving up a pool, drinking, cars, cigarette�s, smoking, and partying with friends. A buddy of mine tried out for these guy�s and wasn�t really into it so gave me their number I met up with them and saw a kick ass bass player and a very eager songwriter and frontman. We tried out a few guitar players before finding Eric, and after that things started to shape up into what we are now. With enough talent to go any direction we, choose what we will do. |
