How Great Is God

During our retreat on 3 and 4 March 2003, we were asked to write a poem, a song, a prayer or simply express our feelings. I know for poems, we are supposed to have beat, tempo, style, etc. But, I did this from the heart as I soaked in God's love. So, here is my poem..............

How great is God;

He fills the air with fragrant smells;

Soil drinks as sweet dew descents;

His creations so nice to see,

the flowers kissed by the bumble bee;

Birds clothed by Him soar freely in the air,

as sweet chirping melody fills the air;

Greeting me are colours aplenty,

filling up all hearts that are empty;

Velvety leaves, soft baby skin,

all His gifts, why do I sin?

Every morning, Father embraces me with love,

makes me want to sour like a white dove.
