| Thomas was not with the disciples when Jesus appeared to them. Even when they told him he said he would not believe until he saw Him. A week after, Jesus appeared to the 11 and showed Thomas His hands and feet. Thomas then believed. Jesus said to him, "You believe because you see me, blessed are those who have not seen me and yet believe." (John 20:24-29) |

| Jesus then told His disciples,"Go like lambs among wolves and make disciples of all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Now I am leaving the world and going to the Father. | ||||||||||

| For forty days Jesus remained here on earth and continued to teach his disciples. After the forty days were over Jesus led them out as far as Bethany, raised His hands and blessed them and promised to send the Holy spirit to them. | ||||||||||
